Jazzahead Info Session

CIMA is a not-for-profit national trade association representing English-language, Canadian-owned and controlled businesses of the domestic, commercial music industry. CIMA represents a diverse membership of small businesses including: record producers, record labels, recording studios, managers, agents, licensors, music video producers and directors, creative content owners, artist-entrepreneurs and other professionals from across the sound recording industry. CIMA represents over320Canadian companies and professionals and 6,200 Canadian artists including: A Tribe Called Red, Tanya Tagaq, Serena Ryder, The Trews, Terra Lightfoot, Tegan and Sara, Whitehorse, The Sheepdogs and METRIC.

Canadian Independent Music Association

Canada has been invited to be the Partner Country for the next edition of Jazzahead, taking place from April 23-26, 2020 in Bremen, Germany. This is the first time that a non-European company has received this honor. 
CIMA and the Conseil Quebecois De La Musique (CQM) will be presenting an information session, in anticipation of this special edition of Jazzahead, on September 23 at 1:30PM at Lula Lounge (1585 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON). 
This session will be streamed on Facebook via the Canadian Independent Music Associations Facebook page. 
The Canadian initiative at Jazzahead is a collaboration of the Canada Council of the Arts, the Government of Canada, FACTOR, Musicaction, CIMA and CQM.
