JETAA Ottawa Hanami

JETAA Ottawa is the local chapter in Canada's Capital Region of JETAA-International, the global alumni association for former participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. Officially launched in 1991, this community includes former and current participants from the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) community, as well as individuals who have expressed a keen interest in Japan and the JET Programme.

Dominion Arboretum

<p>JETAA Ottawa will be hosting a hanami picnic in The Dominion Arboretum at the Central Experimental Farm, Sunday, May 21st**, from 1PM onwards! Bring a blanket your bento and hang out under the apple blossoms to enjoy the spring weather and catch up with your fellow JETAA, MEXT and other friends of our organization who have worked/lived in Japan. The event is free, but we would appreciate signing up so we can see who will join us!</p><p>**D﻿ate subject to change if it rains or flowers have not blossomed yet.</p>
