This Toronto-based troubadour crafts big-hearted indie-folk songs for dreamers, wanderers and hopeless romantics. From fingerpicked confessionals to foot-stomping, full-band singalongs, his recent album Nomad captures his spirit. It’s rooted in the restless beauty of “inbetween-ness,” with Muirhead’s reflections on heartbreak, wanderlust, homesickness, nostalgia and self-discovery. As he says “These in-betweens are where we ask big questions and begin to really understand ourselves.’
