By the grace of Allah we will be holding two Jumu&#x27;ah prayers in a limited and controlled manner on Friday, June 12th at IIT. As you aware aware, COVID-19 remains a serious health risk and we need to do our part to minimize the spread of the virus.UPDATE: Due to last-minute provincial regulations, the prayers will now be held indoors. We will be ensuring all safety precautions are taken and all the rules still apply. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOWIn order to attend you must first complete<a href="https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Ontario&#x27;s COVID-19 self-assessment</a>, and then return to this page to register. If the results of your assessment recommend that you not attend gatherings with others, please do not register. <ul><li>First prayer - Khutbah at 1:30 pm; Khateeb Shaikh Musleh Khan</li><li>Second prayer: Khutbah at 2:30 pm; Khateeb Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick</li></ul>Each prayer is limited to 100 registered participants (50 brothers &amp; 50 sisters). Social distancing will be strictly observed.MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ATTENDEES1. Complete <a href="https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ontario&#x27;s COVID-19 self-assessment</a>2. Register yourself and each additional individual separately3. Print out or save a copy of your registration on your phone. You will NOT be allowed to enter the prayer area without proof of registration4. Make wudhu at home as washroom facilities will NOT be available5. Wear a mask, and bring a prayer rug for one (no sharing allowed); no carpets will be spread on the floor6. Enter the facilities from the South gate (main gate) and proceed to park as directed. Enter the facility as directed by volunteers and proceed to a marked spot on the floor.7. Maintain a safe social distance (2 metres) at all times; place your prayer rug only at a marked spot as directed. Please bring your own chair if you require one.8. Follow the directions of our volunteers at all times9. Give salaams and gestures from a safe distance; do not congregate to socialize with others.10. Disperse right after the Fard prayer by exiting the gym doors and proceed to your car. `EXIT from the North gate as directed. You can perform your sunnah prayers at home.Reminder: Please bring a bag for your shoe and a chair if you require one. Young children, frail seniors and those with pre-existing medical conditions are advised not to attend.Waiver: By continuing with the registration process you agree to abide by all the rules above and to hold the Islamic Institute of Toronto harmless and indemnified from any liability arising out of your participation in this event.
