T﻿his is a short series of discussion-based workshops on intimacy. There are no expert educators - we're all working this out together and learning from each other. There *are* facilitators who are really good at making conversations like this interesting and exciting and not-horribly awkward. Most of the time will be spent in conversation: some in small groups, some in a larger group. There will be chances to find the people who share your interests, and chances to meet lots of new people of all sorts.T﻿here's no "right" sort of person for these events. You're welcome if you've spent lots of time talking about things like this, but also if this feels very new to you. You're welcome whoever you are: whether you're queer, straight, trans, poly, monogamous, kinky, vanilla, slutty, traditional, adventurous, asexual, religious, nervous, introverted, extraverted, any combination of the above... or something totally different.T﻿o learn more, visit our websitehere.

<h3>KINK</h3>Our next event will be about KINK. Join us for a series of semi-guided conversations about kink, for the kinky, not kinky, kink-exeprienced, just curious, kinda kinky.&nbsp;Are you just curious about kink or taking your first baby steps? This is a chance to explore what it feels like to talk about things you might not have talked about before, show up in ways that might feel a bit new to you, and maybe get to learn a bit from the experiences of others. (And of course you won’t have to share more than you are comfortable with)Are you a veteran of the kink scene? This is a chance to talk in a space that isn’t explicitly a kink space (something that feels new for some of us), and with the sort of authenticity, vulnerability, and curiosity that we hope defines the conversations at the “All about Intimacy” series. It’s different from a munch, it’s definitely not a play party.&nbsp;<h3>⁣𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬⁣</h3>There will be a couple of hours of structured, facilitated conversion and some interpersonal exercises (see note above), followed by hanging out and socializing. Our facilitators will help make it comfortable, but maybe not 𝘵𝘰𝘰 comfortable. Maybe, like, a little uncomfortable… but in a good way.⁣ There are no expert educators – we’re all working this out together and learning from each other. It’s a place for people to talk about their own lives and experiences, to ask questions of each other, and explore what it’s like to talk about parts of our lives that we don’t always talk about.⁣<h3>Some Things to Know:</h3>Come early and stay late! Doors will open at 6:30pm, structured programming will go from 7pm-9pm, and we will stick around and hang out from 9pm-late.This is a 2SLGBTQ+ friendly event. We welcome and encourage attendance from those whose gender and sexual identities are marginalized and whose experiences of intimacy in all its forms are underrepresented and often misrepresented.We will be inviting you to talk with others, in small groups, about your personal experiences of intimacy, sex, love, friendship, and connection.You never have to share more than you are comfortable with in any conversation. We aim to make the space safe and comfortable, and expect that all attendees work to do the same for others and themselves.There are no expert educators – we’re all working this out together and learning from each other. They can often be invisible to us, even as they guide us. Taking time to look at the assumptions that may be going unnoticed can be really fun, potentially transformative, and a way to bond and get to know other people. We can reflect on the ways our relationships have been guided in the past, and maybe find ways to change them moving forward.The possibilities of where and when we can talk about intimacy are often limited. We want to expand these possibilities by creating a different kind of space that fosters collaborative exploration, curiosity, and connection.
