Knowledge Mobilization Forum: Sharing Knowledge with Indigenous Communities
Date and time
Join the Waterloo Wellington Knowledge Mobilization Community to discuss sharing knowledge with Indigenous communities.
About this event
The Waterloo Wellington Knowledge Mobilization Community invites you to join us in person on June 13 at the University of Guelph Arboretum to participate in conversations about knowledge systems and approaches to engagement with Indigenous peoples, tour the Wisahkotewinowak Tea Garden, and experience the Mtigwaaki: Among the Trees interpretive walk. Our goal is to offer knowledge mobilization practitioners the opportunity to hear and learn from various projects and partnerships that weave together Indigenous and Western understandings of knowledge creation and exchange as we reflect on and enrich our practice. A picnic-style lunch will be provided.
When: Monday, June 13th from 10:30am to 1:30pm
Where: University of Guelph Arboretum Auditorium (see map). Free parking is available on-site.
