Bachata is a partner dance you can do to modern Latin music and most songs with square beats. It’s easy to start, fun to practice, and focuses on musicality, timing, and connection.

What is Kizomba?

Kizomba is a smooth partner dance danced to slower, grounded rhythms. It’s relaxed, focused on walking patterns, musicality, and calm connection.

What if I’m not sure which level to take?

Accepted Answer

Start with Beginner if you’re new. If you’ve taken salsa before, Intermediate may be a better fit. You can also ask us when you arrive.

Question 4

Do I need a partner?

Accepted Answer

No. We rotate partners so everyone can practice. You can also choose not to rotate if you come with a partner.

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable you can move in. Clean indoor shoes recommended.

Where can I park for free?

Accepted Answer

Free parking is usually available at the Library Parkade at 1360 Ellis St, unless there are major events nearby.
