V1 Studio is a human-centric support haven for every researcher and graduate student in Canada who wants to explore the impact of their research beyond academia. We give researchers and graduate students in Canada a touchpoint with entrepreneurship and provide a safe space for them to explore entrepreneurship. Researcher and graduate students empowerment is at the heart of what we do. V1 Studio builds programs adapted to support researchers and graduate students at the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. We help them level-up their research potential, and if they are ready, to build a startup. Our ambition is to transform the cultural landscape of academia to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset. This generation of researchers and graduate students, perhaps more than ever, want their research to have an impact to solve the huge problems we are facing as a society. By giving them the ability to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, V1 provides the opportunity for this new generation to have long-term impact inside and outside of academia.
