W﻿aitlist being take for the LSQ&#x27;s Additional Final Concert.D﻿ue to high demand, the LSQ added an additional &quot;final&quot; concert on the evening of August 18th in the Philip T Young Recital Hall.T﻿he concert will feature the same great repertoire; Haydn&#x27;s sunny Op. 20, No 2 in C major, the first quartet that they ever performed (in the summer of 1985 in Finland!) will start off the program. Then, honouring their great mentor, Rostislav Dubinsky they will perform Shostakovich&#x27;s 8th quartet. The program ends with Beethoven&#x27;s transcendent Op. 127 in E-flat major.A﻿ll ticket holders are invited to attend the farewell party on August 20th.Tickets for this concert are by donation with all proceeds going to the B.K. Weigel Fund in support of continued excellence in Chamber Music at UVic&#x27;s School of Music. <h2>IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION! </h2>Because the concert is by donation, EACH INDIVIDUAL TICKET MUST be &quot;purchased&quot; separately. (i.e. if you have two or more people attending, EACH attendee must make a separate donation for the concert.) Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your generous donations! Suggested donation $10-$50.
