English follows. <h3>Joignez-vous aux Archives et collections spéciales de la Bibliothèque de l'Université d'Ottawa pour le lancement de leur exposition d'histoire publique intitulée « L'économie féministe : perspectives des femmes sur le commerce et le travail ».</h3>Bâtissant sur l'exposition de l'année dernière sur l'anti-impérialisme féministe, l'exposition de cette année examine les luttes des femmes pour le travail et l'opposition féministe au libre-échange dans le contexte de la guerre commerciale actuelle entre les États-Unis, le Canada et le Mexique. Les visiteurs sont invités à interpréter l'histoire féministe à travers le prisme de la formation de coalitions et de la lutte des classes, et à établir des liens entre les archives et les crises mondiales qui se chevauchent à l'heure actuelle.Cet événement comprend une table ronde avec Marjorie Griffin Cohen (économiste féministe et ancienne coprésidente de la coalition nationale contre le libre-échange), Joan Sangster (autrice de « Transforming Labour: Women and Work in Postwar Canada ») et Meg Luxton (éditrice de« Neoliberalism and Everyday Life »).*Cet événement se déroulera principalement en anglais. Les visiteurs sont invités à s'exprimer en anglais ou en français.Lieu : Archives et collections spéciales, MRT 039, niveau promenade du pavillon Morisset,65, rue Université, Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 6N5----------<h3>Join Archives and Special Collections at the University of Ottawa Library for the launch of their public history exhibit "The Feminist Economy: Women’s Perspectives on Trade and Labour".</h3>Building from last year’s exhibit on feminist anti-imperialism, this year’s exhibit examines women’s labour struggles and feminist opposition to free trade in the context of the current United States trade war with Canada and Mexico. Visitors are invited to interpret feminist history through the lens of coalition-building and class struggle and connect archival records to the overlapping global crises of our present moment.This event will feature a roundtable discussion with feminist scholars Marjorie Griffin Cohen (economist and former co-chair of the National Coalition Against Free Trade), Joan Sangster (author of Transforming Labour: Women and Work in Postwar Canada) and Meg Luxton (editor of “Neoliberalism and Everyday Life”).*This event will be held mainly in English.
