Let’s Speak French - Conversation Café

Our Conversation Café is a welcoming, inclusive space designed to support both French and English language learners. This program brings together participants from both official language backgrounds— francophones who are new to English and English speakers learning French—to practice in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Participants will be paired or grouped to encourage mutual learning, confidence-building, and meaningful conversation. Whether you are looking to strengthen your French, improve your English, or simply connect with others, this café is a space where everyone can learn at their own pace without fear or pressure.

Our goal is to foster community, reduce language barriers, and create opportunities for participants to feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence, and supporting one another through shared learning.

Parlons l'anglais - Café de conversation

Notre café de conversation est un espace accueillant et inclusif conçu pour soutenir à la fois les apprenants du français et de l’anglais. Ce programme réunit des participant·e·s issus des deux communautés linguistiques officielles — des francophones qui débutent en anglais et des anglophones qui apprennent le français — afin de pratiquer dans un environnement détendu et bienveillant.

Les participant·e·s seront jumelé·e·s ou regroupé·e·s afin de favoriser l’apprentissage mutuel, le développement de la confiance et des échanges enrichissants. Que vous souhaitiez renforcer votre français, améliorer votre anglais ou simplement créer des liens avec d’autres personnes, ce café est un espace où chacun·e peut apprendre à son propre rythme, sans crainte ni pression.

Notre objectif est de renforcer le sentiment de communauté, de réduire les barrières linguistiques et de créer des occasions où les participant·e·s se sentent à l’aise de s’exprimer, de gagner en confiance et de se soutenir mutuellement dans leur apprentissage.
