Building Strength from Within: Resiliency, Mental Well-Being and Deskercise

Yusuf Khoja, Goodlife, Jordan Evan, Goodlife

Amid busy schedules and constant change, taking care of ourselves helps us show up well for one another and for the mission we share. Building a healthy and high-performing organization starts with supporting the wellbeing and resilience of its people. When we are equipped to manage stress, stay energized, and care for our wellbeing, we’re better able to collaborate, stay engaged, and show up with clarity and purpose. Facilitated by GoodLife, this energizing and interactive LearnFest session combines reflection, movement and practical tools to strengthen resilience from the inside out. We’ll begin with a focus on personal resiliency and positive wellbeing, exploring how we navigate stress, pressure and change. Then we’ll move into an engaging deskercise session with simple and effective ways to inject movement, energy and focus into the workday. Expect practical takeaways, interactive moments, encouragement, and a chance to recharge alongside colleagues from

Human First: Thoughtful AI in a Changing World

Kristin Root, Gartner

AI is changing the way we work, create, communicate and solve problems. Yet behind it is still something deeply human: curiosity, creativity, discernment, empathy and purpose. Facilitated by Kristin Root from Gartner, a global research and advisory firm known for helping organizations navigate leadership, technology and the future of work, this interactive LearnFest session is not your typical AI presentation. Through live discussion, myth busting, collaborative activities and real workplace scenarios, we’ll explore how we can use AI responsibly, creatively and meaningfully in our everyday work. Together, we’ll test prompts, compare AI-generated outputs, challenge common assumptions, and reflect on the human qualities that matter most in an AI-powered world. Expect energy, laughter, discussion and practical takeaways. Come curious. Leave inspired.

Our Work, Our Calling: Bringing Relief, Development & Advocacy to Life

Claudia Berloni, Marie Bettings

This session invites us to pause and reconnect with the “why” behind what we do. With our commitment to the way of Jesus – walking alongside the poor and oppressed and living out a faith that is active and visible – our programming is more than work; it is an expression of service and worship in action. We’ll explore how our three pillars: relief, development and advocacy work together to create lasting impact, and ultimately act as expressions of God’s compassion, justice and hope. Through hands-on, interactive experiences, you’ll see firsthand how responding to a crisis changes when relief, development and advocacy are woven together. We’ll explore how grants help expand and strengthen transformational development work, creating deeper and more sustainable change for communities.
