LePARC | Embodied Interventions

A cluster focused on research and creation in the performing and temporal arts, we are a group of 10 faculty members with diverse performance-related research interests, such as the creative process, new collaborative practices, sound and music, acting, oral history, listening, participatory performance, performance and politics, intermedia performance, dramaturgy, contemporary circus, playwriting, educational research in the performing arts, collective improvisation, notation, embodiment, space, and time, among many others.

ABOUT:
We invite you to LePARC’s first performative event, Embodied Interventions, taking place over two days May 18th and 19th at Concordia's Black Box. We have curated the event to include presentations, performances, discussions, dialogues, workshops, and reflections to share the various projects and practices that compose LePARC through its student membership. Our intention through this event is to establish relationships and foundations across our members to grow the projects, practices, dialogues and potentials of this new and exciting Milieux Cluster. Please note that the event is designed to be attended in full, and we request that if at all possible participants commit to attending a full day, or ideally both days, so that we can enjoy this opportunity to share extended conversations together while moving through the different formats and mediums.

May 18th and 19th - 2-7pm
2-3pm | Performances + Workshops | Black Box
3-4pm | Installations + Travelling Dialogues alongside cake and tea
4-5pm | Performances + Workshops | Black Box
5-7pm | Discussions, Reflections and Conversations over drinks and snacks

If you are attending both days, please register for each day separately.
