Level Up Symposium - Hamilton

Empowerment Squared is building a world where everyone is empowered with the tools and skills to thrive and contribute to society. We do this by empowering newcomer, racialized and marginalized youth, families and communities in Canada and across the world to succeed through mentorship, access to post-secondary education, information literacy, sports and recreation, and skills development and entrepreneurship. In 2023, Empowerment Squared is celebrating 15 years of developing young leaders and building better communities, including assisting over 3000 newcomer youth and families with settling in Canada and giving back to their community, and building the transformational Liberian Learning Center in Paynesville, Liberia.

Empowerment Squared (East)

The Level Up Business Advisory Symposium is presented by Empowerment Squared’s Southwestern Ontario Black Entrepreneurship Network (SWOBEN) and BLK OWNED HamOnt for program participants and all entrepreneurs.With events held in both Hamilton and Windsor, Level Up offers current and aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to get key advice and insights from industry experts. Come learn from dynamic sessions and keynote presentations with thought leaders, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and be inspired to level up your business and nonprofit initiatives.Topics that will help you advance your business objectives will include: leveraging social media, customer acquisition, growing market share, effective debt and financial management, securing grant funding and much more.Registration for these events is free but limited and will be closed when all spots have been filled.
