The Beach Canal Lighthouse Group was formed in 2003 for the purpose of protecting and refurbishing the historic Burlington Ship Canal Main Lighthouse and its Keeper's Cottage.

The Beach Canal Lighthouse Group and the Hamilton Port Authority are hosting an interesting evening of lighthouse talk.
6:30 pm Reception with appetizers 7:00 Introduction and welcome by Sandy Thomson, BCLG chairperson 7:15 Lighthouse Tales by guest speakers Wayne Wheeler and Mike Vogel 9:00 Closing
Wayne Wheeler, "Mr. Lighthouse," the president and founder of the U.S. Lighthouse Association will talk about the Creative Use of Lighthouses. Mike Vogel, president of the Buffalo Lighthouse Association and Secretary of the U.S.Lighthouse Association will talk about Lighting the Lakes.
Please note that the front door of the building will be locked after 7:15 P.M.
