Synopsis
Harvey Magallanes is a former soldier now working as a taxi driver in Lima. One afternoon, Celina steps into his cab, a woman he knew more than twenty years earlier during his military service in Ayacucho. Although she does not recognize him, Magallanes has never forgotten the painful past they share. Driven by guilt and the hope of redemption, he sets in motion a plan that forces both of them to confront the consequences of violence, silence and memory.
Written and directed by Salvador del Solar and starring Damián Alcázar and Magaly Solier, Magallanes premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Ibero-American Film at the Goya Awards. The film also won the Films in Progress Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
