November 17, 18, 19Doors at 7:45pm, Show at 8pm - NightlyL﻿ocation: East India Carpets1606 West 2nd Avenue Vancouver, B.C.Lobe would like to invite you to a special event presented in partnership with East India Carpets and their new project, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/studiosupermarket/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Supermarket Studio</a>. For three consecutive evenings we will present live spatialized performances and sound diffusions from various artists in the Lobe community. They will perform, and audiences will listen, amidst the incredible collection of rugs displayed at East India Carpets located in the armoury district, near Granville Island. This special event is ticketed as a fundraiser for Lobe’s governing non profit. Live Performances by Edo Van Breemen, Mohamed Assani, Ian Wyatt, Van LeFan, and Dr. Rishi Ranjan Lobe’s Offsite Series involves the installation of our mobile 4DSOUND system and the tuning of acoustic spaces outside of Lobe’s home studio. It creates opportunities for live performances and spatial sound diffusions in alternative spaces, and for special occasions. The accessibility of spatial sound is paramount to our organization, however maintaining it means we regularly offer events at a deficit. We are asking that you see your ticket — the price of which is left up to you to determine — as an opportunity to donate to our non-profit, and to help us in maintaining low-barrier ticket prices.
