The Ottawa Tool Library is a lending library offering a wide range of household tools: hand tools, power tools, garden tools, and kitchen tools.Our mission is to engage and empower the community to participate in sharing resources by providing access to tools and skills for everybody.Our WorkSpace is set up with essential woodshop tools for you to come and work on your projects. Passes can be bought at the tool library after you've completed our safety training.

When you’re done with this project it will still amaze you. This floating table will be a functionalend-table and centerpiece in your living room while at the same time confounding all those who see it.At first glance it defies gravity, but once you build it you realize that it’s not magic, but physics.Under the supervision of our seasoned instructor, Alex, you will learn the safe use of a mitre saw, table saw, router, and drill press. You will also learn about pocket screws and how to cover your screw holes. In the end you will take home a one of a kind table that many will ask you about. Note:Workshops are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
