Join us for a playful workshop where Educators become mask-making maestros! You’ll design and create your own felt masks, perfect for sparking imaginative character play and encouraging emotional expression. Walk away with ready-to-use masks that can enrich play-based learning and bring fresh creative energy into your centres. Date: Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Location: Unit #201, 2949 Pandosy Street, KelownaFee: $5.00Professional Development Certificate for 2 hrs will be provided.What to expect: ⁕Learn step-by-step techniques to create your own unique masks. ⁕Explore different materials and ways to incorporate masks in your program. ⁕Engage in meaningful discussions ⁕Connect with other Early Childhood Educators and share best practices.Light snacks will be provided. Limited spots available! Register today to secure your place. A filming crew will be on site this evening to capture promotional footage for the YMCA CCRR. They will be recording segments during the Make &amp; Take event. If you prefer not to be filmed, you may opt out by choosing not to sign the consent form. Anyone who does not provide consent will be excluded from the final footage.
