Join us on for a VIP Makers Tour that will go around Calgary to visit local Makers’ studios!

Safeway Kensington Calgary

This event is hosted by <a href="https://fashionrevolutionyycca.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fashion Revolution YYC</a> in honour of Fashion Revolution Week YYC (23rd - 27th of April). Blake Ward from <a href="https://theseedstore.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Seed </a>will lead this event. Pick-up location is at Safeway (Kensington) and the loading time will be between 12:30 - 1:00 pm. , and is accessible via transit (Sunnyside Station). Drop-off venue is at Plaza Theatre in Kensington at 6:30pm. Tickets: $37.00 ticket includes:- Private bus transportation from Bass Bus for 6 hours, snacks from Little Tucker and juice from Juice Because provided during the trip. A light dinner from Brasserie Kensington will be provided after the tour, along with Gelato from Fiasco Gelato and beer from Brewsters. Movie entry for the screening of the documentary River Blue at the Plaza Theatre at 7pm is also included. NOTE - the value of the bus alone is $37 a person.Description:Join us on Friday, April 26 for a VIP Makers Tour (35 people) that will travel around Calgary to visit local Makers’ studios. During the tour, participants will see how clothing is manufactured and woven, curated and designed! We will visit 5 amazing studios, shops and businesses throughout Calgary. The evening completes with the group getting dropped off at a documentary screening of The River Blue movie at the Plaza Theatre in Kensington.
