Makeup Masterclass Lab WorkshopIf you are looking for a makeup routine that’s free from preservatives, silicones, and toxic ingredients – this lab workshop is perfect for you. Become the chef of your own makeup as you learn to 'feed' your skin with nourishing, all-natural ingredients. This 90-minute tutorial includes all the tools, equipment, and ingredients to cook up a Cocoa Butter Bronzer, Lip &amp; Cheek Tint, and Foundation Stick (or Foundation Serum) from scratch. Organic &amp; sustainably sourced beeswax, castor seed, shea butter and squalane oils combine to create personalized shades with skincare benefits. About Lixr:At Lixr, we're all about embracing founder Susanne Langmuir's Farm-to-Face beauty philosophy. It's not just about formulations; it's a commitment to using natural, locally sourced, and organic ingredients that are fresh and minimally processed. Susanne's farm in Meaford, Ontario, plays a key role in this, supplying some of the ingredients that make our products so special.In our classes, we dive into this philosophy headfirst. It's not just about looking good - it's about feeling good knowing your routine is eco-conscious and healthy for your skin, hair, and the planet.

Please Note:<ul><li>Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of class, seating is not assigned.</li><li>One ticket purchase is valid for one guest.</li><li>If purchasing a single ticket, you will be seated at a table for two with another individual. Tickets are individually sold and one ticket will give you access to one seat.</li><li>Please notify us in advance at hello@lixrbeauty.com if you have any dietary restrictions and/or allergies. We may not be able to accommodate all restrictions but we will do our best with sufficient notice!</li><li>Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. Usually takes about an hour and a half to complete.</li><li>This class is suitable for all ages 14+. Makeup Masterclass Lab  

Put on your apron and learn about tools, ingredients and recipes at your lab station.  We begin with a tutorial on clean beauty chemistry,  the skincare benefits of organic oils, butters, waxes and pigments. 

Lab Station Set-Up

You’ll be guided through measuring organic oils, butters, and beeswax into a pot, and melting them to the perfect temperature. Choose from a magical selection of pearls, bronzers, and shimmers! Mix your custom blend in a beaker, then pour it into a glass pot!

Cocoa Butter Bronzer

Swatch pink, berry, red, and coral shades while learning about colour theory and how mica and pigments come together to create a vibrant rainbow of clean beauty shades. Choose your perfect hue, then measure it into a melted base of organic waxes and butters. Add a few drops of your favourite flavour, pour into a multi-stick container, and voilà - you’ve made your own lip and cheek tint from scratch!

Lip & Cheek Multistick

Create your perfect foundation match from scratch, customized to your exact skin tone and undertone. Measure organic oils, boosters, and squalane and mix them on a magnetic stirrer as you watch it all come together! Our experienced artisans will guide you in blending the perfect hue while teaching you pro makeup application techniques.

Tailor-Made Foundation

Learn how to apply your Foundation, Lip & Cheek Tint & Cocoa Butter Bronzer like a pro.  We'll teach you the artistry skills for a 5-minute makeup routine using your clean beauty creations!
