Join us for a great day of learning and networking in the Management Essentials Communicating for Success course!Delivered by Georgian College, this course will provide employees with practical strategies to learn how to improve their relationships at work through an understanding of emotional intelligence (EI) and its role in leadership.Registrants will learn how to: <ul><li>Define Emotional Intelligence and explain its importance in the workplace.</li><li>Identify strategies, tools and techniques to develop emotional intelligence.</li><li>Discuss ways to become more resilient and manage emotions at work.</li><li>Explain the role of emotional intelligence in leadership</li></ul>Who should attend?This event is designed for business leaders, supervisors, team leads and human resource professionals working in any industry that is located in Simcoe County, however, Collingwood-based businesses will have first right of refusal.Why participate? <ul><li>Emotional intelligence is the capability of individuals to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as understand and influence the emotions of others. Using EI tools, you will be able to understand common emotions and behaviours and how to manage emotions to achieve goals in the workplace.</li><li>Earn a digital badge for completing the course that you can add to your LinkedIn page or email signature.</li></ul>This course is one of six modules in the <a href="https://www.georgiancollege.ca/academics/programs/management-essentials/" title="https://www.georgiancollege.ca/academics/programs/management-essentials/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Georgian College Management Essentials Micro-credential</a>. Individuals who complete the Emotional Intelligence course will receive a digital badge.
