March Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer orientation for Loutet Farm! Get involved at the farm, our farmers' markets, or with our Sharing Gardens.

Are you looking to give back to the community in a meaningful way? Are you excited to get outside? Do you want to increase your knowledge of farming and gardening?

We have tons of different ways to get involved with the Edible Garden Project! Come out to Loutet Farm to meet the EGP team and learn more. We currently have opportunities to volunteer at our Loutet Farm, at our farmers' markets, or with our Sharing Gardens, where volunteers grow food for donation to local organizations.

Orientations happen outside, so dress for the weather! Please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

The orientation will help familiarize with our organization and answer common questions about how to get involved. We won't be doing any field work today, but when you attend a volunteer session in the future make sure to bring your own water bottle and gloves if possible.

Washrooms and drinking water available on site. Covered area available for storing bags (please leave valuables at home). All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary!
