Join us for a small workshop about stewarding Mason Bees (Osmia Lignaria) in your home, neighbourhood, and community. All are welcome. There will be discussion on ways to care about these animals regardless of your own available space, proper cleaning techniques and seasonal timing, and the life cycle of these amazing creatures.Meet in the AbbeyChurch outdoor courtyard at 1701 Quadra St (next to Vinyl Envy).Gwendolyn is an avid gardener on Vancouver Island and loves supporting invertebrates with native plants and habitat. Her special interest is Bees, and actively works to learn and raise awareness of the needs of bees and their struggles in her community.
