The London Environmental Network (LEN) builds strong, stable & resilient organizations so they can be more effective at creating positive change over the long term.We are also a doorwayinto the environmental non-profit sector so Londoners can learn about environmental efforts in our city and how they can get involved.

May Green Drinks will be taking place on Wednesday, May 29th, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Winks Eatery. This event will feature a talk by Monica Hodgson, the co-organizer of the Big Bike Giveaway. Weather permitting, we will be on the patio to enjoy the spring sunshine.  
Green Drinks is an organic, self-organising network of people interested in talking about environmentally related topics. We hope you can join us to chat with like-minded neighbours, learn more about such an incredible local environmental organization, and connect with other people interested in growing a healthier, more sustainable city!
About the Big Bike Giveaway:
Since 2014, Big Bike Giveaway has given out over 1,000 bikes to the community, for free! Big Bike Giveaway is organized by a husband and wife team in London Ontario who are local community ambassadors. They collect and repair bicycles and give them away for free on one day each year. The goal of the program is to get as many people on bikes as possible and to encourage healthier lifestyles in the community. The program is intended to specifically help those needing this resource to get ahead due to poverty and it helps to solve social, environmental, economic and cultural issues in the community through education and gifting.
Getting There: Like every Green Drinks, we encourage attendees to use active transportation. Plan your route to walk, bike, bus or if you can't do those try to carpool!
