MCCQE: 100-day Study Plan

MCCQE: 100-day Study Plan

Online event

Overview

For busy IMGs aiming to pass the 2026 MCCQE: launch of the 100-Day Study Plan with the design, the scope, and how to use it

The MCCQE is a long exam. The prep window is rarely as long as candidates want. Most IMGs are working a job, supporting a family, and trying to study around both. The 100-Day MCCQE Study Plan is a detailed, day-by-day schedule based on Toronto Notes 2025, designed for that candidate. The one aiming for a solid score, not the one chasing a top-decile score.

The plan is a schedule, not a textbook. You will need to purchase Toronto Notes 2025 and a small set of other resources separately to follow it. The full list is below.

This session is the launch of the plan. Your copy is emailed to you on the day of the event, before the session starts, so you can follow along while I walk through every part of it.

The plan is one possible strategy. Not the only one. There are many ways to prepare for the MCCQE and several of them work. What this plan does is take 300 hours of study time and spend them as efficiently as honest learning science allows: spaced retrieval, retrieval practice, mixed disciplines across sessions, time-based packing, and a reflection rhythm that turns reading into retained knowledge.

The plan is built around a hard constraint: 300 hours across 100 days is not enough to cover everything Toronto Notes contains. So the plan deliberately leaves topics out. Every excluded topic is named, by chapter and priority, in a separate reference called "Topics Beyond the 100-Day Plan." Nothing is hidden.

Who this plan is built for

  • The busy IMG aiming for a solid score.
  • The candidate with limited evening and weekend hours, who needs a system that fits inside a job and a family.
  • The candidate who has built study plans before and lost retention by month three.
  • The candidate sitting the MCCQE for the first time.

Who this plan is not built for, or who should use it differently

  • Candidates aiming for a top-decile score. This plan is a starting point for that goal. Build extra depth on weak topics from your own QBank data.
  • Candidates with six or more months of unconstrained full-time study. You can cover more than this plan covers.
  • Candidates looking for a guarantee. I do not promise outcomes. I promise a defensible, evidence-informed design and a plan you can actually execute in 300 hours.

In this two-hour session, I will walk you through the entire plan: how it was designed, who it is built for, how the 100 days are structured, what each day asks of you, and how to start on Day 1.

What is included with your ticket

  • A digital copy of the 100-Day MCCQE Study Plan, emailed to you on the day of the event before the session starts.
  • Two hours of live walkthrough with the author.
  • Live Q&A.

Resources you will need separately

The 100-Day MCCQE Study Plan is a schedule, not a textbook. It tells you what to study and when, but it does not replace the source material. To follow the plan, you will need to purchase the following separately:

  • Toronto Notes 2025: the primary content source for all clinical disciplines.
  • A QBank subscription: MCC official prep materials, Canada QBank, UWorld, Amboss, AceBank, QBankMD, or similar.
  • Ethics for MCCQE and NAC (Path to Practice Series, Volume 2): used for the PHELO readings.

None of these are included with your ticket.

Who this is for

  • IMGs preparing for the 2026 MCCQE who want a structured plan and a guided walkthrough on Day 1.
  • IMGs who have built study plans before and lost retention by month three.
  • IMGs working full time who need a system that fits inside limited hours.
  • IMGs who want to start their 100-day countdown with the plan in hand and the author guiding them through it.

What you will learn

  • What the 100-Day MCCQE Study Plan is, end to end: session structure, discipline allocation, and three-phase progression.
  • The study techniques the plan is built on: spaced retrieval, retrieval practice, time-based packing, and mixed-discipline scheduling.
  • Who the plan is for, and who should use it as a starting point only.
  • How to use the plan on Day 1, including how missed days are handled.
  • What the plan deliberately leaves out, and where to find that material if you have time.
