MEDtalks is a free event. These sessions are designed as informational forums to help our community learn about their health and understand how they can take action.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

While we appreciate advance registration to help us estimate attendance, we understand that plans can change. You are welcome to register on the night of the event! Our friendly welcome team will be happy to help you at the Aquatarium lobby.

Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?

Yes! After the speakers finish, we will open the floor for questions. If you’d prefer not to speak in front of the audience, you can write your question on a card and we’ll ask it for you.

Keep the Beat. Heart and stroke care in our community.

Please join us for our next MEDtalks session on stroke and cardiac care. This session will highlight how to recognize the signs of heart desease and how it presents differently in men and women, treament options available and provide an overview of the programs and services offered at Brockville General Hospital to support heart health in our community.

We are grateful to welcome guest speakers Dr. Jamie Hynd, Cardiologist, along with Lisa Comber and Brenda Shackles from teh Women's Heart Health Alliance, who will share their expertise and perspectives on this important topic.
