Memory Post Stroke Workshop

West GTA Stroke Network

This workshop on Memory Post Stroke, presented by Dr. Gail Eskes, a clinical neuropsychologist and Professor, Dalhousie University,  will  allow participants to: 
1. Become familiar with the different types of memory and how they work
2. Learn how stroke and related factors can affect memory and how they work
3. Become familiar with a framework for memory rehabilitaiton after stroke
4. Learn and gain experience  in evidence-based interventions to improve memory and support learning post stroke. 
This workshop will take an interprofessional focus to memory post stroke and is open to all healthcare professionals working in the West GTA Region in stroke care. We are encouraging neuropsychologists working within the WestGTA region with stroke patients within hospital or the the community to attend as well for networking opportunities.
