Modélisation 3D & impression 3D (hybride)

Avec l’artiste-formatrice Alexane Couture, cet atelier propose une initiation progressive à la modélisation et à l’impression 3D à partir des bases de SketchUp Web. Les participant·e·s découvriront les fonctions essentielles du logiciel afin d’explorer la modélisation 3D comme outil de prototypage artistique, utile autant pour la recherche formelle que pour enrichir des demandes de subventions ou des projets en développement.

À partir de ces notions, chacun·e sera invité·e à imaginer et concevoir un objet en trois dimensions, du dessin virtuel à sa réalisation concrète grâce à l’impression 3D. Un atelier pensé comme un passage du virtuel au tangible, où l’idée prend forme et devient objet.

With the lead-artiste Alexane Couture, this workshop offers a progressive introduction to 3D modeling and 3D printing based on the fundamentals of SketchUp Web. Participants will learn the essential functions of the software in order to explore 3D modeling as an artistic prototyping tool, useful both for formal research and for strengthening grant applications or projects in development.

Building on these concepts, each participant will be invited to imagine and design a three-dimensional object, moving from a virtual drawing to its concrete realization through 3D printing. The workshop is conceived as a transition from the virtual to the tangible, where an idea takes shape and becomes an object.
