Join us for a special Mood Walks event. Together, we’ll explore how this nature-based wellness initiative can be expanded to benefit our broader community.

Why Mood Walks?
Developed in 2013 by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA Ontario), in collaboration with Conservation Ontario and Hike Ontario, Mood Walks is a province-wide walking program that harnesses the healing power of nature to support mental and physical well-being.

Research shows that spending time in nature can:

  • Improve sleep
  • Reduce stress
  • Boost happiness
  • Encourage positive social connections

Mood Walks is an evidence-based, low-barrier program for individuals aged 12 and up. It offers a meaningful alternative or complement to traditional mental health supports—benefiting clients, families, staff, and entire communities.
