Mountain Mobility with CYAN

Mountain Mobility with CYAN

Flow State YogaBanff, AB
Sunday, Mar 29 from 12 pm to 1 pm
Overview

Join us for a Sunday recovery-focused mobility flow designed for mountain bodies in ski season.

Join us for a Sunday recovery-focused mobility flow designed for mountain bodies in ski season. Think deep stretches, slow strength, and myofascial release to help you bounce back after long days snowboarding, skiing, touring, or chasing powder around the Bow Valley. Grounded, supportive, and feel-good—this class is all about moving better so you can get back out there.

This event is beginner-friendly and drop-in welcoming. Perfect for young adults in the Bow Valley (locals, seasonaires, and anyone whose legs feel cooked after ski laps). No yoga or mobility experience needed.

What to expect:

  • A guided mobility and recovery flow led by a Flow State instructor. Class blends:
  • Slow, intentional movement to restore range of motion
  • Long, juicy stretches for hips, legs, back, and shoulders
  • Myofascial release using foam rollers to target sore, tight spots
  • Breath-led pacing with options and modifications throughout

What to bring:

  • Comfortable movement clothes (layers welcome)
  • Water bottle
  • Yoga mat is optional

About the host / facilitator

This sound bath is facilitated by a practitioner from Flow State, a Banff-based wellness studio focused on movement, mindfulness, and nervous system care.

Accessibility notes

There is an all-gender washroom and changeroom in the studio. The studio is wheelchair and walker accessible (via an elevator in the Bison Courtyard).
