<h1>MURAL MENTORSHIP SERIES </h1>Learn to safely (and legally) use aerosol spray paint and other tools to create incredible street art in a series of workshops led by mural artist, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ajalouden/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><a href="https://linkin.bio/ajalouden" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AJA Loude</a>n! There are three opportunities taking place as part of this series:<ol><li> July 29 - Meet the Artist, AJA Louden (all ages)</li><li> July 30 &amp; 31 - Mural Academy (ages 12+)</li><li> August 20 &amp; 21 - Mini Mural Install (based on approved concept design, artist have 3 weeks to complete their mini mural)</li></ol><h2>About this event</h2>1) MEET <a href="https://www.ajalouden.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AJA LOUDEN</a> on July 29 | 6 pm to 9 pm | Unifor Building (10019 MacDonald Ave)AJA Louden (pronounced A-jay) is a visual artist of Jamaican-Canadian heritage based in amiskwaciwâskahikan (Treaty 6, Edmonton, Alberta). AJA works primarily as a muralist, and also founded and directs the Aerosol Academy series, teaching people of all ages about art making and art history through the lens of graffiti and street art. In this workshop, AJA Louden will teach you how to safely use aerosols and other tools on temporary walls. Workshops start with a 30-minute lecture, safety instructions, then jump into technique and tool demonstration with lots of time for practice and experimentation. All materials will be provided. Limited to Ages 12+.3) MINI MURAL INSTALL on August 20 &amp; 21 | 11am to 6pm | Municipal Parking Lot at Corner of Biggs Ave. &amp; Morrison St. AJA will be onsite to assist selected artists to install their approved designs. Artists have 3 weeks to complete their mini mural.
