Mystical Veils

Celebrate International Women's Day at Rising Moon Studio. Discover the art of Middle Eastern Dance as we raise funds for Karen's Place

Join me for a mystical veil workshop. In addition to veil technique we will explore the basic bellydance movements that are embellished by this mesmerizing prop.

Whether you're a bellydance fan or just curious, come enjoy the rhythm and moves in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Dress comfortably (yoga pants or leggings and a tank top or t-shirt; a sports bra is also a good idea) and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. No shoes are required but you can wear indoor shoes or non-slippery socks. Loaner veils and hip scarves are available at the studio to use during class.

There is no need to print your ticket, electronic check-in will be done upon arrival.

We are located at 1444 Glenora Dr, Unit #2 inside the Ontario Speech & Language Services unit. Entrance is through the front door. Free parking is available around the building.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Karen's Place. They are a charity that provides transitional housing for women 50 years and older who are homeless, have unstable housing, or have no fixed address.
