Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment is dedicated to teaching, sharing, and celebrating artistic expression for Portage and district through programs, performances, and exhibitions in a welcoming, supportive community environment. We are the artistic hub of the community, providing an inclusive environment where all people can experience, learn, create, and celebrate the arts.  In January 2019, two organizations became one. Portage Community Centre Inc. (who ran the William Glesby Centre) and Portage & District Arts Council (who ran Portage & District Arts Centre) amalgamated to become Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment._____By purchasing a ticket, I acknowledge that I am aware of procedures and policies set in place by PFAE regarding COVID-19 health and sanitation guidelines, and I am satisfied they are following protocol set forth by the Manitoba Government. The PFAE will not be held responsible for any symptoms relating to COVID-19 that may develop during or after participation in PFAE Programming.

Myxdd Bagg, the Bards of Rhiannon and the Macgregor Suzuki Ensemble will perform on Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Glesby Theatre. This is a benefit concert and all proceeds will go to Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment and Central Plains Cancer Care.
The name Myxxd Bagg was chosen because of the wide variety of musical styles the band covers. Different genres include sixties rock and roll, country, Celtic, bluegrass, old-time fiddling, and classical. The band also plays many different instruments, featuring guitars, piano, violins, flutes, tenor and bluegrass banjo, ukulele, bass guitar, and cojone. A mainstay of the group is two-part, three-part, and sometimes four-part vocal and instrumental harmonies. Shane Smith, Marla Winters, Ron Winters, Daniel Beaupre, Gail Beuckert, Lauren Beuckert, Riley Beuckert, Leia Pfeifer, Kathryn Kuhl, Olivia Rae, Eric Cooper, Rob Peters, and Rick Williamson will perform.
