Everything old is new again, and native plant gardens are now all the rage. And for good reason! Native plants are best adapted to (thus more successful in) our climate conditions, they support biodiversity by providing food and shelter for birds and pollinators and they enhance the beauty of our gardens. You have everything to gain and nothing to lost by adding more native plants to your garden... whether it is in your backyard or in containers on your balcony.Registration is encouraged but drop-ins are welcome until capacity is reached.Presented by the Toronto Master Gardeners as part of TPL's environmental program series, Our Fragile Planet.About the presenter: <a href="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Toronto Master Gardeners</a> have been advising and helping solve problems for Toronto gardeners since January 1988. Toronto Master Gardeners have successfully completed university horticultural studies and must meet ongoing continuing education requirements to make sure that advice to gardeners is based on current horticultural knowledge.
