This field day is designed for farmers, ranchers, and acreage owners interested in creating and improving habitat for native pollinators on their land. The day will include a tour of a native pollinator planting project, a visit to Wright Nursery, lunch at the Medicine River Wildlife Centre, and discussion of practical ways to support pollinators. Featured speaker Dr. Ken Fry (Olds College) will share insights on native pollinators, other beneficial insects, and the habitat features needed to support them.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Medicine River Wildlife Centre in support of their important wildlife rehabilitation, education, and conservation work.
