Want to learn more about the wonderful world of pollinators? Join the Sustainability Office for the first talk in their Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series! From bumble bees to butterflies, you’ll get to know some of our 400+ species of native bees, learn what gives us chocolate (hint: it's not bees), and discover easy things you can do to help #savethepollinators.
*Please note that lunch will not be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own to enjoy during the talk. Registration is encouraged and can be done through our Eventbrite page. 
About the speaker:
Heather Cray is a PhD candidate and restoration ecologist at the University of Waterloo. She has a passion for restoration and conservation science, communication and outreach, and is fascinated by the connections and feedbacks in living systems and how we can advance our understanding to best protect the natural world. Heather has a MSc in Biogeomorphology and a BA in Geography and International Development Studies from McGill University.
