NCCP Comp Intro - Basic Mental Skills

Established in 1995, PacificSport Vancouver Island is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing sport participation for all ages and abilities through theCanadian Sport for Life(CS4L) program.  From grassroots, community sport day camps to high performance athlete development, PacificSport Vancouver Island inspires and engages our community to excel at sport and be active for life.

PacificSport Vancouver Island

The 3.5-hour Basic Mental Skills module gives you the ability to:
<UL>
<LI>recognize signs indicating that an athlete may need to improve his/her goal setting, focus, and anxiety control skills; and develop tools to help the athlete to make improvements in these areas; and</LI>
<LI>run simple guided activities that help athletes improve basic mental skills.</LI>
</UL>
All NCCP Coaches Week courses are reduced to $10 per course as part of the National Coaches Week initiative and are dispersed back into the community via coaching grants.  Coaches who complete NCCP training during Coaches Week are eligible to apply for a grants to be awarded early 2018
