NeuroTechHa is NeuroTechX's local Hamilton chapter. <P><STRONG>We are thrilled to present to you NeuroTechHa's first Hackathon!</STRONG> Join us for a weekend of programming, networking, and all things fun at the intersection of neuroscience and technology. The goal of the hackathon is to bring together people with different backgrounds to further develop the neurotech ecosystem in Hamilton. <STRONG>We encourage EVERYONE to participate, even if you do not have a programming background</STRONG>. Believe us, everyone brings something new and valuable to the table. If you are interested in joining an existing team, or proposing a project, please do so in our <A HREF="https://crowdforge.io/hackathons/neurotechha" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CrowdForge sparkboard</A>. <SPAN>If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us an email at ha@neurotechx.com </SPAN></P>

<H2>Projects and available tech</H2>
<P>Even though participants are encouraged to bring their own projects, our sponsors will also present their own challenges. You will have access to different electroencephalography (EEG) consumer headsets: Interaxon's <A HREF="http://www.choosemuse.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Muse</A>, OpenBCI's <A HREF="https://shop.openbci.com/products/pre-order-ganglion-board" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ganglion Board</A>, and NeuroSky's <A HREF="https://store.neurosky.com/pages/mindwave" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mindwave Mobile</A>. <SPAN>We will also provide microcontrollers, soldering equipment, measuring devices (oscilloscopes), 3D printers, and other useful equipment</SPAN>. If there is any specific equipment you'd like us to provide, please let us know! Join the <A HREF="http://neurotechx.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NeuroTechX</A> Slack (specifically, the _hamilton channel) for more information. </P>

<P>Costs range from $35.00 to $50.00 depending on date of registration and if you are a member of NeuroTechHa or affiliated groups. Ticket includes all the meals outlined in the scheduled.</P>

<P>On Sunday afternoon, a panel of judges will decide the best projects. Follow us on social media to learn more about the prizes that you can get by participating in the Hackathon. <STRONG>Hint</STRONG>: the top three projects will be awarded a headset that will help them with mindful meditation! </P>
