Date and time
Please RSVP to join TransLink & partners for the annual New Mobility Forum hybrid (in-person & virtual) event on 'Electrification'
About this event
TransLink – the regional transportation authority for Metro Vancouver, B.C. Canada – will be hosting our annual New Mobility Forum event on June 28th, 2022. This year’s theme will be Electrification.
The New Mobility Forum is dedicated to shaping the future of automated, connected, electric, and shared transportation options in Metro Vancouver. The event brings together private industry experts, public sector planners, decision makers, and academics to focus on emerging themes for the future of mobility. The forum aims to foster productive discussion to help achieve our goals outlined in the 30-year vision Transport 2050 as well as Climate Action Strategy and Low Carbon Fleet Strategy.
The Forum will focus on addressing real-world problems with an emphasis on governance, public private partnerships, and improving the customer experience with electrification. Speakers and audience members will explore how electrification may leverage innovations in vehicles, infrastructure, energy demand management, policies, and strategies to improve access to zero-emission mobility options. The future of mobility can provide an exceptional transportation experience that supports safe, healthy, clean, and compact communities, as well as affordable and equitable access for all, if we do it right.
