Comedy Nuggets presents Norman&#x27;s Midnight Train: All-Star Stand-Up &amp; Improv Comedy Show, which offers some of Toronto&#x27;s best stand-up and improv comedians perform.The show will have performances by an all-star lineup of stand-up comedians. Also, there will be a “long-form” improvised portion where 86 year-old Australian comedian, Norman Ryan, tells personal stories that provide the inspiration for the resulting scenes by an all-star cast of improvisor comedians.Here is a little about each of the stand-up comedians in the show.ANGELA MAIORANO-THURSTONAngela is an adorable comic she will delight you in away that will have you gigling for days. Catch Angela live its a fun filled evening you will learn things that may haunt your dreams but don&#x27;t worry you will feel better about yourself and hey some people need therapy! Angela has toured all over Canada and North America except she is not allowed to enter Mexico.BRANDON HENDERSONBrandon Is a Bowmanville based comedian. A new face to the comedy scene, his humbling sense of humour and genuine desire to make people laugh shows he&#x27;s in it for the long haul. JENNIFER HSIUNGJennifer is a Canadian television presenter and journalist best known for her work at China Central Television&#x27;s (CCTV) English-language international network, CGTN (China Global Television Network). The Toronto native first relocated to Beijing in 2006, and joined CCTV as a sports anchor. In the summer of 2008, she covered the country&#x27;s first-ever Olympic Games, and enhanced exposure to the Games by being one of the first few to report from many of the city&#x27;s newly constructed Olympic venues, such as the iconic Bird&#x27;s Nest Stadium and The Watercube.MICHAEL MOSESMichael Moses is one of the fastest rising stars in Canada, with a win at the 2014 Go Yuk Yourself Competition, a finalist at the 2015 Brantford Rising Stars Competition, a headliner at the 2017 Border City Comedy Festival, and was a part of the 2017 Devil’s Cup Comedy Festival in New York City and the Seattle International Comedy Competition and Guelph Comedy Festival in 2018. In April of 2019 he will be attending the Halifax Comedy Festival to appear on his first national televised taping for the CBC. He has opened for Big Jay Oakerson, and Randy and Lahey of The Trailer Park Boys. Michael is definitely a comedian you will be happy you saw.Here is a little about each of the improvisor comedians in the show.AMRUTHA KRISHNANAmrutha is an office drone by day and comedian by night. The monotony of 9-5 life has primed her to get silly in stage both as an improviser and stand up. She has performed all over the city and most of her recent nightly adventures involve her assembly troupe Harrison Ford Focus.BRIE WATSONBrie Watson is an improv, stand-up and sketch comedian, live comedy producer &amp; improv instructor based in Toronto &amp; Niagara. She is the creator of Guess Who’s Coming to Improv? and is currently a member of the improv troupes Semper Pie &amp; The Unexpected Arousal of Jessica Fletcher. She produces POPAGANDA at The Second City Training Centre as well as the programming for Improv Niagara. Brie performs in a sketch comedy duo alongside David Lahti called The Utilidors. They’ve performed internationally at NYC Sketchfest and the Boston Comedy Arts Festival and performed at the 2017 &amp; 2018 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festivals. Along with her brother Nick, Brie hosts and produces The Constant Struggle podcast, in which the siblings interview local artists and performers and discuss the struggles balancing life and art.DANA SHIEMANNDana is an actor, singer and improv and sketch comedian currently residing in Toronto. Dana is a Conservatory graduate, was a part of Second City’s House Co, performed in four Second City Writing Shows and was nominated for the Tim Sim’s Award. Recent credits include Lettterkenny (Crave), Miss Elizabeth (Vice), Bizarre Murders (Investigation Discovery) and Massive Monster Mayhem (Nickelodeon). Dana recently returned to Canada after performing improv comedy (BeerProv At Sea) aboard the MSC Seaside. When she’s not improvising or schmacting, you can catch Dana singing and playing keytar with her band.LANCE BYRDLance is a comedian living and performing in Toronto. He is a graduate of the Humber Comedy Program, the Second City&#x27;s Conservatory, a member of award-winning sketch troupe, The Weaker Vessels (Patron&#x27;s Pick - Toronto Fringe 2015), a founding member of improv powerhouse Three Speed and a former performer with the Second City&#x27;s House Company. His television credits include &quot;Giving You The Business&quot; (Food Network). Lance can be seen performing at the Social Capital Theater any given Monday or Friday, and performs around Toronto regularly.MATT FOLLIOTTMatt is a comedian/actor/writer from Toronto. When he&#x27;s not performing with the Second City National Touring Company you can catch him on stage with S&amp;P and Canadian Comedy Award Nominees K$M, alongside his powerhouse comedy partner Kirsten Rasmussen. Matt has traveled across North America performing and teaching in comedy festivals like IMPROVAGANZA (Edmonton, AB), The Vancouver International Improv Festival, The Ottawa Improv Festival, MPROV (Montreal, QB), and The Seattle International Festival of Improv.
