From First Strokes to Lasting Impact: Oars for Oceans Invites Community to Connect with Water and Support Ocean Sustainability
In celebration of Ocean Week Victoria, this one-of-a-kind experience invites you to connect with the water in a way that’s joyful, meaningful, and accessible—no experience required.
The full experience runs approximately 1.5 hours, giving you time to learn, try, and truly feel the rhythm of rowing. You’ll start with a brief on-land introduction to rowing, learning the basics of technique and movement before heading out on the water. From there, you’ll step into a boat alongside an experienced rower who will guide you through your first strokes in a safe, supportive environment.
This is your chance to explore, learn, and take action. Through hands-on experience and a shared commitment to ocean sustainability, Oars for Oceans brings community and purpose together on the water.
Every participation is a contribution. All proceeds support the club’s transition to electric motors and ongoing environmental stewardship—helping protect the waterway we cherish.
ROW IT. PROTECT IT. POWER IT DIFFERENTLY.
