How do I join the live event?

Accepted Answer

All registrants will receive an access link via email during the week of the event. Select the access link to join from your browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) or via Microsoft Teams app—desktop (Windows or Mac), Web, or mobile. A Microsoft Teams account is not required.

Question 2

How can I participate in the live event?

Accepted Answer

Attendees will be able to participate in the moderated question & answer sessions using the Q&A box in Microsoft Teams. As an attendee of the event, your audio and video will not be shared.

Will captions be available during the live event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Captions/subtitles can be toggled on via Microsoft Teams. Please note: due to the technical nature of the event content, captions auto-generated by Teams may not be an accurate representation of the live talk.

Will presentations be available to view post-event?

Accepted Answer

Only select presentation recordings will be made available for free public access on GeologyOntario post-event. We strongly encourage registrants to attend the live event where possible so as not to miss any content or to contact us for more information (ogs@ontario.ca).
