From Japan all the way to Kentucky, we will be celebrating the global language of food and drink with guest hosts who are experts in their respective crafts.Destination ---&gt; (MUC) Munich, GermanyThe Oktoberfest is known as the oldest and largest Volksfest (folk festival) in the world. Hosted in Munich every year, this 16-day festival originated on October 12, 1810, in celebration of the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria, who later became King Louis I, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.Today, Oktoberfest is a celebration of all things Bavarian. The area is known for its pristine countryside, its clean air, a wealth of culture and the infamous laid-back Bavarian attitude. Medieval castles, small towns, magnificent palaces, Baroque churches and Bavaria&#x27;s urban hubs provide the backdrop for traditional events and opera festivals. Join us for our inaugural Oktoberfest celebration, a cinq-a-sept style event, with various food and beer stations sampling the very best of Bavarian-style fare. Lederhosen will earn you extra stamps for your Culinary Passport!
