Open Data Atlantic - Environment Meeting

<H3>After having hosted two meetings to date, we will be hosting our third gathering in Moncton to discuss the Government of New Brunswick 5 year digitization strategy along with the analysis of the City of Moncton's <A HREF="http://www.moncton.ca/Government/Terms_of_use/Open_Data_Purpose/Data_Catalogue/Trees.htm" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City Tree Inventory data set</A>  with special guests Gerry Fairweather and David Clark.</H3>

<H2>Open Data Atlantic's mission is to curate and facilitate civic engagement within Atlantic Canada.</H2>
What does Civic Engagement mean? Essentailly, citizens or organizations that are embracing technology and data to build more efficiency, accountability and transparency in our government systems.

<H2>We've defined our Principles to Success as the following:</H2>
1) To share best practices within the open data movement 2) To address areas of improvement or barriers (these will arise as we explore various themes)  3) To learn about data analysis and visualization (data skill set)  4) To understand the positive impact that data and application of data can have on a community 5) To create commercialized open products using open data that contribute to the development and growth of our communities

6:45pm - Presentation and Discussion from Gerry Fairweather on 5 Year Government of New Brunswick Strategy on: Digital Transformation, Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management and Information Management. 
7:45pm - Quick Talk from David Clerk on the Do's and Don'ts of Data Visulization
8:00pm - Short Break
