Why do you ask for my age, gender, etc. when I buy my tickets?

So we can understand our audience, better cater our programming, and so we can fulfill our sponsorship and grant reporting requirements (which are essential to non-profit organizations; without them we wouldn't have the funds to run). The info is anonymized, grouped, & used for statistical purposes.

Our full autograph policy can be found at https://otafest.com/policies. In most cases, guest merchandise prices are not available before Otafest, and there will be a price list at their autograph table.

I require assistance to enjoy the festival, can I bring a support person?

As of 2025 Otafest is a participating member of the Access 2 Card Program. Purchase your ticket as usual and when you come in to pick up your badge, present your Access 2 Card and we will provide a complimentary pass for your support person.  Please ensure that your card has not expired.
