PACT Town Hall

PACT is a member-driven organization of professional Canadian theatres which serves as the collective voice of its members. For the betterment of Canadian theatre, PACT provides leadership, national representation and a variety of programs and practical assistance to member companies, enabling members to do their own creative work.We are a leader in the national performing arts community, and a devoted advocate for the value of live performance. Since 1979 we have focused on providing a community where theatre professionals (both artistic and administrative) can come together to discuss important issues and work together to create innovative solutions.We aim to be a responsive organization, cognizant of the needs of our members in order to offer programs and services that benefit our community.We strive to be representative of the true breadth of professional theatre in this country, and work to make sure we are an inclusive organization that provides value for all theatre companies in Canada.

PACT Town HallThursday, September 15, from 1pm to 2pm ETWith PACT staff and special guestsPACT Town Halls are free and open to managers, artistic leaders, producers, administrators, and anyone else working in the Canadian performing arts – whether or not your company is a PACT Member.Our ongoing Town Hall sessions explore the many pressing issues in Canadian theatre today, including pandemic recovery, anti-racism work, accessible practices, mental health initiatives, and our sector&#x27;s response to the climate crisis. Each session features updates from the PACT staff and board, insights from invited guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with your colleagues and hear about their work.Please register by 12:30pm ET on the day of the Town Hall to ensure that you can join. You will receive the Zoom connection information by email from PACT within 24 hours of the meeting&#x27;s start time.
