A partial solar eclipse on April 8th will occur in Lethbridge. Come experience the eclipse safely with our special solar telescopes.

Partial Solar Eclipse Event!Date: Mon Apr 08 2024Time: 11:00 AMLocation: Lethbridge Astronomy SocietyCome join us for a partial solar eclipse experience. This eclipse is a total solar eclipse if you are near Mexico, Texas and Eastern Canada. From our location in Lethbridge we will see the Moon cover about 30% of the Sun. Eclipse will start at 11:45am and will peak at 12:40pm and ends around 1:40pm. Bring your friends and family to enjoy this spectacular event with us. We will have a variety of solar telescopes setup. If you have eclipse glasses feel free to bring them. See you there!Never look directly at the sun without proper filtered glasses or telescopes.
