The Moon will gradually cover about 2/3 of the SUN, reaching its peak at 10:27am. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO VIEW THIS EVENT WITHOUT USING THE PROPER EQUIPMENT! Special Solar Telescopes will be set up, and solar viewing glasses will be available for purchase @ $3.00 each while supplies last. CASH SALES ONLY!! Digital/credit card transactions are not possible.Society members will be on hand to answer questions. This event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. Please note this event will be cancelled if the sky is overcast - check your email for cancellation massage.
