Save Our Scruff is a non-profit organization located in Toronto dedicated to rescuing dogs and finding them safe and suitable permanent homes through adoption, advocacy and education. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians, and trainers, we are able to rescue dogs and provide them with loving temporary care while finding them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.Save Our Scruff is dedicated to preventing overpopulation as well as stopping the cycle of abandonment/neglect while also providing aid/support due to these concerns. We provide care and rehabilitation for stray, abandoned or displaced dogs. We strive to position ourselves as a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of dogs through enhancement, protection, care, education and advocacy.

Paws &amp; Flow is back and better than ever! Join us for an afternoon of relaxing yoga and cider in support of our next Spay &amp; Neuter clinic.

West Avenue Cider House

Save Our Scruff is so happy to bring back an event two years in the making!In honour of community, connection and all things dogs, Paws &amp; Flow will include:<ul><li>A yoga practice to rest and restore the body and mind</li><li>Refreshing cider from West Avenue Cider House</li><li>A marketplace where you can grab some unique items and Save Our Scruff merch</li><li>Tasty food</li><li>Time to say hey (&amp; maybe some cuddles) to cute dogs!</li><li>A silent auction filled with great prizes including concert tickets, dog goodies, wine and much more!</li></ul>All proceeds &amp; donations will be going to our scheduled Spay &amp; Neuter and Funky Town Sanctuary visit (along with <a href="https://www.thedoggoproject.org/en/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Dog-go Project</a>!) in September 2022.Each ticket includes entrance to the event, a 60-min yoga practice and a glass of West Avenue cider (both alcoholic &amp; non-alcoholic options) as well as access to our micro-market, Silent Auction while hanging with our supportive community.ABOUT FUNKY TOWN SANCTUARYFunkytown is a shelter space in Puebla Mexico, supporting The Dog-go Project's dogs that come into care. They have space for 250 dogs but are often over capacity and always needing more availability. The dogs at Funky are supported through vet care, regular mealtimes, scheduled time to play in a big open area. Funky takes in dogs in need, which means dogs who have been hit by cars, have open wounds, the dogs that are usually hiding from other dogs or people because they are sick, malnourished, or have been abandoned outside the shelter in a tied sack; dogs that most likely wouldn't make it without the interception of the Funkytown team. Because of this, financial donations are very much needed and appreciated.For a lot of our adoptable dogs, Funkytown has been their second chance. For a lot of you, dear members of our supportive community, it has been a blessing as many of our meximutts wouldn’t be here without such a caring, consistent, and transparent group of dog-lovers at Funkytown. That's why we believe it is time we gave back, don’t you think?Join us for an afternoon of refreshing relaxation that goes towards a good cause!**This is an all-ages event!**
